Baker Skateboards

Baker Skateboards was founded in 1999, when Reynolds along with other professional skateboarders left their respective brands, because they felt that they did not promote skateboarding as they would like and did not represent their lifestyle.

Reynolds, specifically, left Birdhouse owned by Tony Hawk and they did so amicably... Blitz Distribution, which is also owned by Hawk and Per Welinder, began distributing Baker globally.

In 2012, Riley Hawk, son of the legend, joined the Baker team. Initially as an amateur, he turned professional in 2013 with his own skate decks models.

Some of Riley Hawk's boards reached sales figures the company hadn't seen for a long time and really needed. Today, Baker is one of the most iconic brands in the world.
